Chiropractic was discovered on September 18, 1895 by Dr. Daniel David Palmer in Davenport, Iowa U.S.A.

Chiropractic is a science, an art and a philosophy of natural health that studies the spine and its integral relationship with the nervous system. Its main objective is to analyze, detect and correct vertebral subluxation.
Vertebral subluxation is the improper alignment of a vertebra which causes decreased function of the nervous system and decreases the amount of life force expressed through the body.

Chiropractic is based on the fundamental principle that proper alignment of the spine allows for proper nerve function and the ability of the organism to heal and maintain a state of health.

Chiropractors analyze the spine to detect vertebral subluxations (vertebrae that are out of their proper alignment). Once the vertebral subluxation has been detected, a specific chiropractic adjustment is utilized to correct the subluxation in order to restore the natural and maximal expression of health and vitality.

We all suffer physical, chemical and emotional stresses over the course of our lives that lead to the vertebrae of the spine becoming subluxated (misaligned). These vetebrae neatively affect the nervous system which is the control system of the entire body. Therefore many people on this earth are living with poorly functioning nervous systems directly due to vertebral subluxation. This creates an individual who suffers a lack of health and vitality. Unless a chiropractor checks for vertebral subluxation, the individual can spend their entire life living below their capacity. The hospitals and drug stores are full of people that have been living so far below their capacity they actually experience pain and disease as a result.
